Truth & Reconciliation

September 30

Each year, September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.

This year we partnered with Mackenzie Brown whose Cree name is Kamamak (Butterfly). Mackenzie is an Indigenous singer, drummer, storyteller, knowledge seeker, song writer, artist, Cree cultural ambassador and advocate of fun! We learned so much from Mackenzie.
